A very positive experience

Most thyroid testing starts and stops at TSH. That single marker tells you how hard your pituitary is pushing your thyroid, but it does not tell you your actual thyroid hormone levels, and it says nothing about whether your immune system is involved.

The Women’s Thyroid Panel with Antibodies measures five markers: TSH, Free T4 and Free T3 to show your thyroid hormone levels directly, plus thyroid peroxidase antibodies and thyroglobulin antibodies, which indicate whether an autoimmune process is present. Thyroid conditions are several times more common in women than in men, and antibodies can be present before other markers shift, which is why a complete panel is more informative than TSH alone.

This panel is often chosen by women who have had a normal TSH result but continue to experience symptoms such as fatigue, cold intolerance, hair thinning, weight changes or brain fog, and who want the full picture rather than a single number.
